Destination: Paris
About this photo: We were walking around the St. Michel neighborhood of Paris. As we were passing this fountain, we saw a street performer on the sidewalk blowing giant bubbles. As I started to take a photo of him, I saw this little boy, enchanted by the bubbles.

Destination: Mayan Ruins Of Tulum
About this photo: My husband and I hiked about 30 minutes in 100 degree heat at 90% humidity to get to these ruins…and it was sooo worth it! What a beautifully spiritual place.
Best deal found: No really good deals. Just icy cold beverages and lots of friendly locals.

Destination: Versailles, France
About this photo: The Palace of Versailles and its gardens are so large and beautiful that you’ll easily spend all day here. I took RER C5 train here from Paris and got off Versailles Rive Gauche station, 5-min walk from the palace. The train ride took only 40 min and was more affortable than doing the tour through travel agency.
Best deal found: Make sure to buy the admission online in advance. It costs little extra but it’s well worth it. During peak season, you may wait as long as 3 hours in the line to buy ticket and in another line to rent audio guide. I definitelly recommend getting the audio guide, as it’s difficult to get to the signage when crowded.

Destination: Costa Maya, Mexico
About this photo: Twelve of us took a Spring Break cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas. Our first port was Costa Maya where my son Matt quickly made a new friend.
Best deal found:
The best deal was planning some of our own excursions. In Costa Maya we went to the best beach/bar/restaurant (a place called Pez Quadro) for a $4 per person cab ride. Now THAT’S an affordable excursion!

Destination: St. Thomas
About this photo: My girlfriend and I took a cruise a few weeks ago and one of the stops was St. Thomas. This was taken from Blackbeards Castle looking down into the harbor.
Best deal found: Guavaberry rum found in St. Marteen

Destination: Yellowstone National Park
About this photo: The Yellowstone River and the Lower Falls early in the season. This is what it looks like in June. Plan a trip soon.
Best deal found: Xanterra, concessionaire in Yellowstone, offers cabins as low as $79 in spots like Canyon Village and Roosevelt, but for a true steal, rough it and camp for as little as $22 a night. The National Park run campgrounds are under $15 a night, but they do not offer reservations. Get outside and have fun. Get out before the July anD August crowds.

Destination: Belize
About this photo: I am originally from Belize, and the last time I was there was Dec 1976. Therefore, when I traveledto Belize in May 2009, I was so shocked to see how technology has changed the world becase the people are now watching Oprah, Dr Phil, TMZ, and so on. Technology is great.
Best deal found: I found the price of the room where I stayed was reasonable. For example, The Cunningby Inn on Regent Street.

Destination: Beaches of South Walton, Florida
About this photo: Joe the Pineapple enjoying one last smoke before quitting for good. He really means it this time…
Best deal found: Not a trace of oil on the beach! Water was warm and clean and seafood plentiful near Destin and PC Beach. If you are thinking of cancelling your vacation there, don’t! As of today, NOAA forecasts that NW Florida should not see damage to their tourist beaches.
