Best deal found: Signing up for a Time Share presentation – I know , I know – you are thinking NO WAY!! But we listened to a 90 min speech, that included a free breakfast and were able to get several tours FREE plus we purchased several tours at a significantly discounted price. The best thing was we received $300 CASH!!! It was well worth the time we took to listen.

Best deal found: No best deals, but were reminded, once again, people are mostly the same the world over, regardless of their cultures or religions. Moments before this was taken, the little boy was sharing his lollipop with his grandfather.

Destination: Alaska
Best deal found: This was picture was taken by myself 2 weeks ago in Glacier Bay National Park, it shows Johns Hopkins glacier. The best deal I found on this cruise was in Juneau. Where instead of being expensive excursions or getting sold stuff you don’t need, I climbed Mt Roberts. you can pay $25 to ride a tram half way up the mountain or you can hike it for free. I climbed for about an hr witnessing breath taking views of the glacier carved inlets and massive mountains coming straight out of the water. also we waited and booked the cruise less than a month before and paid $3500 for cruise and airfare!

Best deal found: It was the Tundra Wilderness Tour at Denali National Park. It is an 8-hour bus tour with a naturalist/driver who spots the wildlife and tells you in detail the history of the area. It is well worth the time and money.

Destination: Appalachian Trail
Best deal found:  This is a swarm of honey bees huddled up on a cold Carolina morn. The picture is a little fuzzy because it was taken quickly and we got out of there. The honey was free except for a few welts.
