Destination: Negril to MoBay, Jamaica
Best deal found: The Polkerris bed and breakfast by far! $120/night for the master suite overlooking all of Montego Bay. Personalized breakfast included and right on “Hip Strip”. THX Clark for letting us know about the cheap tix! Oh yeah, don’t miss the private kayak tours on the Great River. Class 3’s and 4’s in off season, supposedly 5’s and 6’s during rain season! Guides are well trained and extremely knowledgeable. Water is like a movie set and perfect for swimming or bird watching.

Destination: Carmel, CA
Best deal found: What can I say, the best things in LIFE are free, just waiting for you to discover them, just like the cairns discovered on the Beach at Spanish Bay, Carmel, CA. We rounded the corner on our drive along the coast of Carmel and 17MI Drive, and there they were. We had to stop and ponder the hours that went into the cairns, and who and what they stood for? A beautiful spot to sit and relax and soak in the beautiful coast of California.

Destination: Blue Ridge, GA
Best deal found: We drove our own vehicle instead of flying. Airline tickets to Atlanta were outrageously expensive. We found gas for $1.25 per gallon in Canton, GA! The picture was taken at sunset fron the porch of our cabin overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. This was the second week of December 2008.

Best deal found: Three T-shirts for $10.00… just kidding. One day, at the Bubble Room on Captiva, happy hour drinks were 3 for the price of 1. They were exceptionally slow that day.
