What’s Old is New Again is officially launching a ‘new’ consumer website today designed to minimize hassles and online searches by helping travelers easily find local and seasoned travel agent specialists to match their specific, individual needs – free. Rather than serve as a generic online booking tool, instead highlights over 1,300 individually vetted travel agents whose collective expertise covers over 350 unique specializations and destinations. Travelers can use the site to select agents based on their knowledge, experience and passion for travel. Travel agent specialists featured on the website includes more than 5,500 independent retail travel agencies across the United States and Canada. Any consumer can search for a travel agent based on location, destination specialization – such as Hawaii or Africa or Europe – and/or travel niche or interest. The latter could include anything from Disney vacations or luxury cruises to spa vacations or honeymoons. There are also various categories for individual traveler needs such as military, couples, seniors, accessible travel, and gay and lesbian travel. In all, there are over 350 unique specializations that consumers can search to find the best travel agent for their needs. All vetted travel agents are featured with their key areas of expertise including their destination knowledge, their travel specialties and training, their business locations and contact details. Among the most popular specializations included on the site are those for luxury travel, river cruises, honeymoon and destination weddings and Disney vacations.

Full Travel Jacket
Gone are the days of jackets with only pockets. A hi-tech coat, the Baubax Jacket, could just be the ultimate piece of travel clothing! The concept coat is being called the ‘Swiss Army knife of travel jackets’ with 15 built-in features such as an inflatable neck pillow, gloves in the sleeve, earphone holders, eyemask in the hood, pen and stylus, and places to stash an iPad, phone, charger, passport, sunglasses and even a drink Koozie. Choose from four styles for men or women: Sweatshirt, Windbreaker, Bomber or Blazer. Crowdfunding through Kickstarter will help the BauBax jacket a reality. Donate $119 or more to receive one of the first issues during the November release — just in time for the gift-giving season. There are additional perks for larger donations.
