While major service providers like AT&T and Verizon are hiking the prices on cell phone service, some MVNOs, including Tello Mobile, are making their plans more affordable.

Recently, Tello announced price drops and more data for a few of its most popular phone plans. This article will take a close look at the new prices and features to help you decide whether or not you should consider switching to Tello.

Tello Mobile’s Plans and New Prices

Tello Mobile offers four different prebuilt, prepaid phone plans that offer from 1GB to 25GB of high-speed data. In addition to the pre-built plans, Tello Mobile lets customers build their own plans by mixing and matching different amounts of data with minutes.

Recently, Tello Mobile announced improved data plans along with price drops for plans that cost $19 or more per month. Fortunately, the new prices will be available to new and existing customers. So if you’re already with Tello Mobile, you can expect a lower bill soon!

Here are the newly improved data plans highlighted on Tello’s website

Old Plan DetailsNew Plan Details
4GB for $19/month5GB for $19/month
6GB for $24/month10GB for $24/month
Unlimited for $39/monthUnlimited for $29/month

All of Tello Mobile’s plans come with unlimited texting.

The first plan is actually a prebuilt plan from Tello called “Smart.” While the price didn’t change for this plan, Tello has added an additional 1GB of high-speed data, bringing the total amount of high-speed data to 5GB for $19 monthly.

The second plan is a custom plan that’s well-suited for people who need more than 5GB, but not quite 25GB. Previously, it cost $24 per month for 6GB of data, but now customers can enjoy 10GB for the same price.

Finally, Tello’s unlimited plan, which includes 25GB of high-speed data before reduced speeds, went down in price by $10 per month. If you’re looking for an unlimited cell phone plan, $29 per month is a great price.

Tello Mobile: The Cheapest Overall Monthly Plan
