Italian Maze
It took eight years to construct and now the world’s largest maze or labyrinth is open in Italy. The 17-acre Labirinto della Masone is set on the estate of art publisher Franco Maria Ricci in the town of Fontanellato near Parma in the region of Emilia-Romagna. The labyrinth covers eight hectares and is modelled out of 200,000 bamboo plants measuring up to 15 feet in height to nearly two miles of inside paths. This labyrinth of bamboo hedges is five times the size of the Pineapple Garden Maze, the largest permanent hedge maze in Guinness Book of Records. The site is also a museum containing 500 paintings, sculptures and art and design objects dating from the 16th to the 20th century. Open Wednesday-Monday (10:30A-7P). One-day individual tickets of €18 include admission to the maze and museum.

ID Theft Tips
Summer is a prime time for thieves to take advantage of vacationers, since they often leave personal information in unexpected locations. Stay safe and protect your identity with tips from TransUnion:
Public Wi-Fi can mean public snooping. Don’t check your bank account in public places where the Wi-Fi is not secure.
Use a privacy screen on your laptop while traveling on a plane or bus.
Keep copies of credit cards or passports in a safe place (personal safe or locked suitcase) in case your info is comprised.
Schedule bill payments in advance. Avoid another opportunity for thieves to steal your info and unpaid bills could hurt your credit.
Freeze your funds if your info is stolen. You can contact a credit bureau or use TransUnion’s mobile app feature, Credit Freeze, which lets you lock and unlock your credit.
Don’t share vacation plans on social media. Thieves can see the information too.
Shred travel documents after they’re used. Or, keep this information on your phone instead.
Watch your wallet. Send a fraud alert and notify card issuers if your wallet is stolen.
Stop your mail while on vacation. Credit card offers can easily be stolen from your mailbox.
