Here are a few of Team Clark’s favorite finds from the middle aisle of Aldi

Every Aldi store has a centrally located aisle that features a rotating stock of non-food items. From electronics to furniture to clothing, that’s where you’ll find great buys on household products and other essentials.

Aldi happens to be a favorite of several of us here on Team Clark, so let’s take a look at some of the best middle aisle buys we’ve purchased and continue to use in our everyday lives:

Sarah

aldi pressure cooker

I got this stovetop Crofton 6.3-qt. stainless steel pressure cooker about two years ago for $39.99. This was about the same time that the Instant Pot was becoming really popular, but it was over $100 and I didn’t want to spend that much on a kitchen appliance. This stovetop pressure cooker gives me the same quick cooking abilities at a fraction of the cost!

John

aldi ice maker

When we found this Ambiano portable ice-maker on the Middle Aisle last summer it was perfect timing because the one in our freezer had just gone out. I think we paid $79.00. It works like a dream, making the first ice about 10 minutes after you turn it on, and it’s capable of making more than a pound of ice an hour. We still use it when we’re entertaining!

aldi candy canes

My favorite Aldi purchase is a pack of light up candy canes that we use to decorate our house for Christmas. They have different blinking and fading options, but the best part is that they were only $15!

Theo

aldi vacuum

With two children and two dogs to have to pick up after, I need multiple vacuums in the house. This stick vacuum from Aldi was $14.99 and the suction is great. I keep it on the main floor to pick up food that the kids drop from the table or dry kibbles that the dogs make a mess of.

Here are a couple of honorary mentions from Theo…

aldi pleated window shade

I saw these pleated window shades for $3.99. While I have yet to hang them, I expect they’ll make for a cheap solution in a room where the existing blinds are falling apart.

aldi clothes dryer

I think I paid $12.99 for this tripod clothes dryer last year. I don’t have a conventional clothesline because I have limited yard space, so I use this instead.

Aldi $15 men's sneakers

My favorite $14.99 sneakers ever. They’re just about the cheapest pair I’ve ever worn and one of the most comfortable, too. They wore out in about a year — or the dogs chewed them up — I can’t remember which!

The thing about shopping Aldi’s middle aisle is that items are available in limited quantities while supplies last. So you have to shop early if you want to get the best selection, particularly for things like footwear that comes in multiple sizes.
