Target offers free two-day shipping to everyone!
Target is hoping to hit the bulls-eye with shoppers this Christmas with its new limited-time offer. Beginning November 1, the Minneapolis-based retailer will make free two-day shipping available on hundreds of thousands of items.
Previously, you had to either spend $35 or use your REDcard to get the free two-day shipping.
However, we should note Target reserves the right to substitute free standard shipping in place of two-day shipping during peak periods. So act fast before the holiday crunch really ramps up!
This offer of free two-day shipping is valid through Dec. 22, 2018.
Also happening right now, the store will complete the expansion of its Drive Up service to nearly 1,000 stores by the end of October.
This curbside delivery service allows you to place your order via the Target app and have your purchase brought out to your car by an associate within an hour.
Finally, Target also has a solution if you can’t figure out what to buy for the people on your Christmas shopping list.
Each store will have at least 30 displays of curated gifts broken down by price point — under $5, $10 and $15. Look for the colorful canopies and clear signage to spot the displays.
Never one to be outdone, Walmart has also announced its own plan to capture more of your holiday shopping dollars.
Key elements of the Walmart strategy, which rolls out in November, include expanding free two-day shipping to millions of items — without requiring you to pay a membership fee — and allowing in-store returns of merchandise you buy from third-party sellers on Walmart.com.
