Costco is introducing vegan and vegetarian fare at its food courts nationwide, according to a variety of media reports.

But don’t fret, all you beef-etarians: The $1.50 hot dog combo will still be on the menu.

Costco introduces fruit bowls, protein salads to the menu

Move over pizza, burgers and ice cream. Here come Costco’s new acai fruit bowl, organic burger and vegan protein salad!

The warehouse club chain last week announced that it’s expanding the food court menu to include healthier items to attract a wider customer base.

This isn’t the first time Costco has tinkered with its food offerings. Last year, the company tested a 1/3-pound cheeseburger for $4.99 at select food courts in Seattle and Southern California.

Fortunately, you’ll still be able to get a 100% all beef Kirkland Signature hot dog and refillable 20-ounce soda nationwide for $1.50 — a price that has remained consistent since 1985.

And here’s even better news: The warehouse club has told shoppers that low price won’t be going up for the foreseeable future.

The beloved polish dog, however, has met a different fate. It’s reportedly been yanked from the menu at some locations.
