For as long as tablets have been available, there have been separate keyboards that integrate into the tablet, but this year the convertible tablet, or 2-in-1 tablet, is the big man on campus.
2-in-1 tablets can either be a laptop or a separate stand-alone tablet. These have come further down in price and have a mixture of operating systems, but the idea is that you can have one device that functional for both work and play. And they really do work.
