Are you a Chase credit card user who has an interest in the Disney+ streaming service?
Chase just released a new offer that will save select credit cardholders some cash!
Here are the details:
New Chase Offer Gives 15% Discount on Disney+
For a limited time, select Chase credit card customers get 15% back on Disney+ subscription purchases made with the card.
This is a one-time-only discount that is capped at $12 in total value. The offer expires on May 8, 2021.
To maximize the value of this discount, you could purchase an annual Disney+ subscription for $79.99.
A 15% return on that is $12, which is the maximum value of the offer.
If you sign up for a month-by-month Disney subscription at $7.99 per month, this perk is worth only $1.20 as a one-time statement credit.
To qualify for this discount, you must have a Chase credit card that participates in the Chase Offers program.
How To Claim the Disney+ Offer From Chase
To get this offer applied to your account, you’ll need to log in at Chase.com or on the Chase app.
If you have an eligible Chase Offers credit card, you’ll need to go to that portion of the app or website and search for Disney+. From there, you simply add the offer to your card.
Just make sure to add the offer before you make your Disney+ purchase in order to receive the discount. You’ll get your money in the form of a statement credit.
And it’s important to note that you must make the subscription purchase directly through Disney+ for the transaction to qualify for the credit. So don’t use something like Apple TV or Google Play to pay for the subscription.
What Is on Disney+?
Team Clark has you covered with a full review of Disney+, but here’s the quick rundown.
Disney+ has thousands of hours of on-demand content from five major brands:
- Star Wars
- National Geographic
Within these categories, you’ll have on-demand access to both legacy and new content TV shows, movies and documentary series.
For example, Star Wars fans can enjoy the entire film catalog as well as new original series including The Mandalorian and The Clone Wars.
And Disney fans can enjoy classic films such as The Little Mermaid and Cinderella along with new releases including Raya and the Last Dragon and Soul.
Disney is constantly updating the content catalog! Here’s a look at what will be new to Disney+ in April 2021:
All in all, this is a pretty solid offer from Chase. It is easy to claim, and the benefit is pretty straightforward.
If you are an existing Disney+ customer, the best use for this credit is to find a way to pay for your next annual subscription with this Chase Offer.
That way you get your full $12 worth of discount.
If you are a new Disney+ customer, this is a good way to lock in a deal on your first year of service.
Month-to-month subscribers won’t see much benefit from this perk. In fact, it’s such a small reward in that context that many may choose to skip it altogether.
