The next time you’re searching for a free or public Wi-Fi connection, Facebook can help you find it!
Facebook just announced that it’s rolling out “Find Wi-Fi” worldwide on iPhone and Android devices after launching the feature in a handful of countries last year.

The name of the feature explains it all. Find Wi-Fi helps you locate available Wi-Fi hotspots that nearby businesses have shared with Facebook, which can come in handy when you’re traveling or have weak cellular data.
Public Wi-Fi is often found at places like coffee shops, restaurants, libraries and hotels — just to name a few.
After you’ve activated the feature, you can see the closest available Wi-Fi hotspots on a map from businesses that have shared that information with Facebook.

To use Find Wi-Fi, you must enable “Location History” in your Facebook settings.
