If you or someone you know has an Amazon Prime Student account, you should know about an exclusive new perk that’s just been announced.

New and current student members can now subscribe to Amazon Music Unlimited, the premium subscription tier of Amazon Music, for only $0.99 per month, Amazon said in a news release.

That’s an $84 annual savings and gives students access to more than 50 million songs and the latest releases.

“Music is truly an integral part of campus life and bringing Amazon Music’s premium subscription tier to Prime Student members lets students enjoy their favorite artists, songs and playlists on demand and ad-free at an incredibly low price,” said Cem Sibay, VP of Amazon Prime. “With Prime Student, members can enjoy this new music benefit along with exclusive student offers throughout the year, making it easy to access the best of shopping and entertainment from Prime at a great value.”

The Amazon Music Unlimited deal is only for Prime Student members. Everyone else still has to pay $7.99 per month for the service after a 30-day trial period.

Prime Student is $59 per year. College students who haven’t signed up can get a six-month trial at amazon.com/primestudent.
