If you’re an avocado lover, we’ve got great news for you: Avocados are currently a great deal!

This is especially surprising, considering California’s current drought. Calavo shipped 22% more fresh avocados this quarter, compared with last year.

The health perks

Avocados are jam packed with nutrients. According to CaliforniaAvocado.com, avocados provide nearly 20 essential nutrients, including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E, B-vitamins, and folic acid.
