Graco is recalling more than 25,000 car seats that may not adequately restrain children during a crash.
According to Graco’s website, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) testing found that the harness webbing on certain My Ride 65 convertible car seats failed to meet federal requirements for breaking strength.

There are 25,494 car seats affected by this recall. They were produced during the summer of 2014, from May to August. Only car seats with a webbing tag code of “2014/06” are included.
The company is notifying customers who may be impacted by the recall. Free replacement kits with new harness restraints will be provided.
There’s a tool on Graco’s website to help you determine if your car seat is included.
