More than 100,000 pounds of frozen meals are being recalled due to possible salmonella contamination, according to a notice from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service.

The recall applies to Banquet meal trays with breaded chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and a chocolate brownie dessert, which were produced on January 26.
Conagra Brands was notified by a supplier that an ingredient used in the brownie mix may be contaminated with salmonella.
The frozen meals were shipped to retail locations across the country, so if you have one in your freezer, check the packaging to see if you should throw it out.
7.4 oz. vacuum-packed trays containing “BANQUET Chicken Nuggets with Mac & Cheese” with Code 3100080921 and a “BEST IF USED BY” date of July 20, 2018.
The products bear FSIS establishment number “P-9” printed on the side of the box.
According to a news release, there have been no reports of anyone getting sick from the meals, but you should call your doctor if you have any concerns.
