CBS has the broadcasting rights for Super Bowl LVIII, which will be played on February 11, 2024, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. PST, which is 6:30 p.m. in the Eastern time zone.
The game and all of the pre-and post-game coverage will be on CBS. There will also be a kid-friendly broadcast on Nickelodeon.
If you’re like me and have cut the cord and kissed your cable TV bill goodbye, you may be looking for ways to gain access to CBS’s broadcast of the big game without forking over a bunch of money.

Since this game is being televised on CBS, there’s a good chance you may be able to catch a high-definition broadcast of the game over the air from your local CBS affiliate for free.

The CBS broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII will be available for streaming on Paramount+, which is owned by ViacomCBS.
Paramount+ has indicated that it will make the Super Bowl broadcast available on both the Paramount+ Essential ($5.99 per month) and Paramount+ with SHOWTIME ($11.99) subscription tiers.
This is one of the top video streaming services on the market, so paying for a subscription to watch the Super Bowl will unlock access to a collection of hit movies and on-demand TV shows as well.
If you’re a Walmart+ customer, you should be receiving a complimentary Paramount+ Essential subscription as a perk of your membership.
You may also be able to take advantage of a free trial period Paramount+ offers to new customers. This was still available at the time this article was written. However, it would not be a surprise to see Paramount+ temporarily remove the free trial option on the day of the big game.
The National Football League launched its own streaming service in 2022, and a subscription could pay off in moments like this.
Access to NFL+, which can be had for as little as $6.99 for a one-month subscription, will get you a livestream of Super Bowl LVIII on your mobile device or tablet.
This streaming service won’t let you watch the game on your television directly, though.
You could try to air cast the video stream from your phone to your TV, but be warned that I haven’t had success when attempting to do this with the NFL+ app. It’s likely that the app is guarding against this action to protect traditional TV broadcasting rights.
Even if you’re able to successfully cast the broadcast, it’s worth noting the picture quality may vary. So be aware that you may be sacrificing the viewing experience a bit with this method, which could be a potential party foul if you have a large guest list.
If you don’t already have a live TV streaming service, now might be the time to give one a test spin.
Services, like YouTube TV, often offer their products at no cost for a short period of time before billing you for your first month of service. So, theoretically, you could use your free trial to watch the Super Bowl for free and then cancel prior to the end of your trial period.
Be aware that not every live TV streaming service offers CBS as a part of its subscription. And not all of them have free trials available. You may just have to break down and pay for a month of service.

The Chiefs are the defending Super Bowl champions and enter the game as the AFC representative for the fourth time in the last five seasons.
The Chiefs superstars everyone will be watching in this game are quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce. The duo is looking for their third Super Bowl victory together after beating the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV in 2020 and the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII in 2023.
Kelce is famously dating music superstar Taylor Swift, who has been a prominent presence at Chiefs games this season.

This is the home field of the Las Vegas Raiders, which are not featured in the game. The Super Bowl is generally played at a predetermined site that is home to one of the league’s 32 teams.
Neither team is located particularly close to this stadium, so there isn’t a clear homefield advantage like there was when the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers won Super Bowls at their home stadiums in recent seasons.
And it is worth noting that the crowd for the Super Bowl is often much different from what you see at a home regular-season game. Many tickets are sold well ahead of time to corporate sponsors that have no rooting interest in either team.
Usher is the headliner for the Super Bowl LVIII halftime show.
