Curbside pickup has become a popular service in recent years, but at the end of this month, Sam’s Club is amending its curbside program for certain members.
Sam’s Club is discontinuing free curbside pickup for Club level members on June 28 according to its website.
The service will still be available for Club level members, but they’ll have to pay a $4 fee for each order. It will still be free to Plus members, so this is the time to do the math and figure out whether it’s worth upgrading your membership. (More on the benefits of Plus membership in a moment.)
If you enjoy the convenience of curbside pickup at Sam’s Club, it may be worth upgrading to a Plus membership. Curbside pickup is available at many clubs during the Plus shopping hours, when you not only get to enjoy early access at the store but early curbside pickup as well.
In addition to curbside pickup, there is an array of other benefits associated with the upgraded membership.

Determining which membership tier is best for you will include figuring out which of its benefits you’re going to use. But it should take the pressure off to know that Sam’s Club offers a membership money-back guarantee.
In addition, there is a promotion for new members that runs through July 31, 2022. If you join at the Club level for $45 per year, you’ll get $45 off your first in-store purchase.
