The recall involves about 29 million wristbands in the U.S. and 3.6 million in Canada.

McDonald’s has received more than 70 reports of incidents, including seven reports of blisters, from children who wore the Chinese-made wristbands. They were distributed with Happy Meals and Mighty Kids Meals from August 9 to August 17.

According to McDonald’s, parents should take the wristbands away from their children immediately and return them to any location.

Children will receive a replacement toy and either a yogurt tube or a bag of apple slices.
