Unicorns are 100% real, at least for the next few days at Starbucks!

After recent speculation on social media, Starbucks has confirmed that it’s offering a limited-edition Unicorn Frappuccino starting April 19 at participating locations nationwide.

So, what’s in this magical beverage?

It features a dusting of pink powder, blended into a crème Frappuccino with mango syrup and layered with sour blue drizzle. The drink is finished with vanilla whipped cream and a sprinkle of sweet pink and sour blue powder topping.

Here’s where the magic comes in: Starbucks says the Unicorn Frappuccino changes flavors and colors as you stir it.

“Like its mythical namesake, the Unicorn Frappuccino blended crème comes with a bit of magic, starting as a purple beverage with swirls of blue and a first taste that is sweet and fruity. But give it a stir and its color changes to pink, and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart,” Starbucks said.

On Instagram, one barista said the Unicorn Frappuccino is good for “any kid who loves sour candy and has underdeveloped taste buds.” He gave it a 3/10.

From pizza to grilled cheese, unicorn and rainbow-themed foods and drinks are a real hit on social media right now — and the trend shows no signs of ending soon.

Remember, though, the Unicorn Frappuccino is for a limited-time only. The last day to get one at Starbucks is April 23.
