The Consumer Product Safety Commission says about two million knives are being recalled because the blade can break, posing a laceration hazard.
There have been 27 reports of finger or hand lacerations, including four injuries that required stitches.
The knives were sold at major retailers including JCPenney, Kohl’s, Macy’s and online at Amazon.com from September 2008 through December 2016.
The recalled knives sold for $25 for a single knife to $300 for a set.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says you should stop using the recalled knives immediately.
On its website, Calphalon has an online guide to help you determine if your knives are affected and order a return kit. You can also call them at 800-809-7267.
