Customer service associates will work 30 to 50 hours per week and solve customer concerns like returns, replacements, credits, orders and other inquiries.
I recently listened in on a webinar from the job search website FlexJobs and the recruiting manager from Williams-Sonoma shared some new details about these popular virtual jobs.
During the webinar, the representative from Williams-Sonoma revealed that the company now offers six weeks of paid maternity leave for employees who’ve been with them at least a year.
There’s also a points-based program that rewards customer service associates for doing a good job.
Employees will receive points from their supervisors that can be exchanged for gifts — anything from a set of headphones to a European vacation.
Take a look at the pockets of the country where these stay-at-home jobs are available right now:
In some cases, you must live within a certain distance of the physical call center location.
Is your area not on this list? Later this year, Williams-Sonoma said remote jobs will be available to residents of Florida, North Carolina, Utah, Arizona, Kentucky and Virginia.
Here’s more about this job posting from Rachel Jay, Senior Career Writer at FlexJobs:
“Williams-Sonoma, the popular home furnishings store, is one of the growing numbers of recognizable companies that offer remote jobs. In fact, Williams-Sonoma placed number 15 on FlexJobs’ annual list of the top 100 companies with remote jobs, meaning it was among the top companies that posted the most remote jobs during 2017. The company hires primarily for remote customer service associates, which is one of the most common work-from-home job titles. Williams-Sonoma does have location requirements for its positions, which is typical of about 95% of remote jobs.”
The recruiting manager from Williams-Sonoma said the company is looking for “great personalities with a passion to serve.”
In addition to at least one year of customer service experience, applicants must have a computer, phone and high-speed internet service to be considered.
