AT&T has been advertising three months of its DirecTV Now streaming service for $10 a month over the past few months, but I’ve found an even better deal.

This freebie isn’t available on DirecTV Now’s website — it’s through the rewards program Swagbucks.

Get three months of free DirecTV Now service with Swagbucks!

If you’re not familiar, Swagbucks is a website that lets you earn points for shopping online, searching the web, watching videos and taking surveys.

You can then redeem those points for cash or gift cards to retailers like Amazon, Walmart and Target.

I’ve been a member of Swagbucks since 2011 and can confirm that it’s 100% legit. This is NOT a scam. I typically earn between $25 and $50 worth of gift cards every month.

Now let’s get to the DirecTV Now deal, which is why you clicked on this article in the first place…

When I logged in to my Swagbucks account today, I saw the DirecTV Now offer featured under “Most Popular Ways to Earn.” The reward is 3,000 Swagbucks, which is equal to $30 in cash or gift cards.

Swagbucks

According to the details of the offer, you can get the Swagbucks reward when you take advantage of any current DirecTV Now promotions.

Here are the three streaming deals available right now:

  1. Prepay your first 3 months with regular pricing and get a free Apple TV
  2. Prepay your first month and get a free Roku
  3. Use promo code YesNow3 to get $25 off your first 3 months then move to regular pricing

Important note: If you take advantage of any of these special deals from DirecTV Now, you give up the seven-day free trial offer.

I decided to go with the third option. DirecTV Now’s “Live a Little” bundle comes with 60+ channels for $35/month at the regular price, but it’s $10/month for three months with this promo.

Remember that you must enter code YesNow3 on DirecTV Now’s website to get the $25 off.

To be clear, this $10/month for three months deal is available to everyone. The 3,000 points ($30 equivalent) is a bonus for going through Swagbucks.

You can use points that you earn from Swagbucks to offset the cost of the streaming service.

Swagbucks

Those 3,000 Swagbucks won’t show up immediately — they’ll appear as pending for 32 days.

To make sure that you get the points, you need to be logged in to your Swagbucks account and click on the DirecTV Now offer so that Swagbucks can track your visit and give you the reward.

Like I said, I’ve used Swagbucks for seven years and haven’t had a problem with receiving my points.

If you’re paying $100 a month for traditional cable or satellite TV service, DirecTV Now and other streaming services like YouTube TV and Sling TV are definitely worth a closer look.

By taking advantage of the free DirecTV Now deal through Swagbucks, what do you have to lose?
