A recall that initially involved less than 18,000 pounds of chicken has ballooned to include nearly 2 million pounds of product.
Popular brands like Hormel and restaurants like Blaze Pizza and Mr. Hero are involved in the newly expanded recall, according to the United States Department of Agriculture.

National Steak and Poultry has expanded its initial recall of ready-to-eat chicken products because of possible undercooking. On Nov. 23, the Owasso, Okla.-based company announced a recall of 17,439 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken.
On Dec. 4, the recall was widened to include the following products:
The undercooking in the chicken could result in the potential survival of bacterial pathogens, according to the USDA. So far, no injuries have been reported.
