So to make your life easier, Household Hacker recommends taking a small piece of colored tape and marking your shower handle at the preferred position. If you have several people in your house, use other colors of tape.
I thought that painter’s tape would be perfect, but since I couldn’t find any, I just used a black permanent marker to color a sliver of packing tape.
