2019 jobs update: These 10 careers are having hiring sprees

Want to start the new year with a new career? We’ve got a fresh list of jobs that have experienced consistent hiring demand over the past four years and are expected to be hot again going into 2019.

Account executive, realtor, recruiter are among the top jobs for 2019

A new LinkedIn analysis of job openings finds that candidates with the right balance between hard skills and soft skills are likely to continue enjoy hiring attention in the new year.

That means the jobs that are in the highest demand include things like software engineer and data scientist — that value technological training — alongside positions where a people person could really shine, i.e. as a realtor or recruiter.

“These are the jobs that have been…experiencing sustained high hiring rates and large growth year-over-year, making them potentially more stable career choices,” the job networking website notes.
