If you have an old car seat that you’re not using anymore, Target wants to help you do some spring cleaning!
From April 17 to 30, bring your used car seat to Target and trade it in for a coupon for 20% off any new car seat. The coupon is valid through May 31 in stores and online.

Target says it’s teaming up with TerraCycle to make sure that the old car seats are recycled or “upcycled” into new products.
“In honor of Earth Month, we wanted to make it easy for guests to do something positive for the planet and their communities,” said Jennifer Silberman, Target’s chief sustainability officer. “We love this opportunity to give families an environmentally friendly way to dispose of unwanted car seats and get the new ones they need just in time for spring.”
The trade-in program is taking place at Target stores nationwide, but small-format stores are excluded. Contact your local store to confirm that it’s participating.
