If you’re planning to take your mom to brunch this Mother’s Day, here’s a way to save some money.
Ibotta, the mobile shopping app, is offering a free mimosa, up to a $5 value. The special rebate is available at bars and restaurants nationwide this Sunday only.

Here’s how it works: After downloading the app, moms simply open the Restaurants and Bars category, tap the “Mimosa for Mom” rebate and enjoy a mimosa at their favorite restaurant or bar.
After the purchase, the user just has to upload the receipt through the Ibotta app to receive $5 cash back.
“This Mother’s Day, Ibotta wants to toast moms who are always putting others’ needs before their own,” said Bryan Leach, founder and CEO of Ibotta. “Today is their day, so we’re asking them to sit back, relax and enjoy a mimosa on us.”
Although Ibotta is best known for its grocery rebates, it has recently expanded into several other categories, including restaurants, bars and liquor stores.
Read how I earned nearly $1,500 using Ibotta and two other cash back apps.
