Dick’s Sporting Goods bought all assets of the ailing Sports Authority at auction in June..including the customer data that you shared with the now defunct store!

Don’t worry…you have a way to opt out of info sharing

If you don’t want your info shared with yet another retailer, there’s an easy opt-out process.

Simply go to SAPrivacyTransferNotice.com before Sept. 17 and enter the notification ID sent by email to the account you had on file with Sports Authority. Doing this will trigger a deletion of your customer info from Dick’s records.

You can also call (888) 836-1708 to complete the process or to ask additional questions.

Any info customer info that Dick’s has on file after Sept. 17 from the Sports Authority account will be governed by Dick’s privacy policy going forward.
