Getting to Hawaii has been so expensive of late, particularly from the eastern half of the United States. It’s been more expensive than flying to Asia in many cases!
But today is different.
Alaska Air, Allegiant Air, and Hawaiian Air all have airfare sales from the West Coast to the Hawaiian Islands. Fares range from $139 OW (one way) to $199 OW.
I’ve been looking at dates and they’re widely available for February and March, with very scattered availability in January.
Hawaiian Air and Allegiant are offering the best deals to Honolulu, while Alaska Air has its best deals into Honolulu and Maui.
This is a deal you want to hop on TODAY because seats are going fast.
I recommend grabbing a fare from your home city to the West Coast when domestic airfares drop in the slow travel months of January, February, and March. Doing it that way — buying one ticket to the West Coast and then a separate one to Hawaii — will still save you many hundreds of dollars vs. flying direct from your home city to Hawaii.
Meanwhile, if you live in a market served by Alaska Air, they are doing a Cyber Monday weeklong sale with fares starting at $49. They’re one of the best airlines in the U.S.
I mentioned Asia earlier. The sales to Asia have been great for months. There’s a sale on Cathay Pacific today that has fares to Asia from its markets starting in the $700s RT (round trip) for early winter and spring travel. Cathay is often considered one of the best, if not the best, airlines in the world.
So all in all, this is a great day for you to make travel plans. But again, you have to act fast and book today.
