A family in Westfield, New Jersey thought they were buying their dream home. Instead, they find themselves in the middle of a nightmare. Soon after they purchased the six bedroom, $1.35 million dollar home, they began receiving letters from someone calling themself ‘The Watcher.’
According to the family, the author claims that the house ‘has been the subject of my family for decades’ and threatens the couples’ children, saying ‘I am pleased to know your names now and the name of the young blood you have brought to me.’ The person asks ‘Who has the bedrooms facing the street? I will know as soon as you move in. It will help me to know who is in which bedroom then I can plan better.’
The family has now filed a lawsuit against the sellers, claiming they knew of this person and had even received a threatening letter just a week before closing on the house. Read the text of the lawsuit here.
