If you’re in need of a prescription refill, Sam’s Club is offering a new way to get your meds the same day you order them.

Sam’s Club recently announced same-day prescription delivery as part of its new partnership with DoorDash.

Can Non-Members Get Sam’s Club Same-Day Prescription Delivery?

Sam’s Club same-day prescription delivery is available to members and non-members, pharmacy associates told me.

And whether you want it delivered or want to pick it up yourself, you don’t have to be a Sam’s Club member to get a prescription filled at the pharmacy, it says on the store’s website.

Sam’s Club same-day delivery is available across the United States at more than 500 locations in 41 states.

How Does Sam’s Club Same-Day Prescription Delivery Work?

DoorDash and Sam’s Club fulfill your prescriptions through Drive, DoorDash’s business fulfillment platform. Here’s how the process works.

To refill your medications:

  1. Call your local Sam’s Club Pharmacy
  2. Schedule your prescription delivery
  3. Wait for DoorDash to deliver your prescription

Sam’s Club says it hopes to include an ordering function in its app by mid-2021.

How Much Does Sam’s Club Same-Day Prescription Delivery Cost?

The standard fee for this service is $7.99 — for members and non-members.

For Sam’s Clubs members only, there’s no charge for the first two deliveries between now and January 31, 2022.
