Discount grocer Aldi recently scored a Great Value Award from the International Wine Challenge, with its Exquisite Collection Cotes de Provence Rosé — an $8 bottle of wine — ranked as one of the top wines in the world!

Aldi also recently won “Product of the Year” for its $12.99 Broken Clouds Pinot Noir, based on a survey of consumers conducted by global research agency Kantar TNS.

When it comes to great taste and great price, Aldi actually has a wide variety of all sorts of wines that range in price from about $4 to $20.

Another great option is Trader Joe’s $3 wine label that ranges from deep red Merlot to light Riesling — perfect for all occasions.

Buying wine a certain day of the week will save you money

Being strategic about when you buy is another great way to save on wine! According to the popular mobile shopping app Ibotta, Monday is the least expensive day to purchase wine, while buying on Saturday and Sunday typically costs consumers more.
