Is Black Friday worth it?

For me, I have never done the whole routine where I wait in line overnight or get up in the middle of the night to buy items on Black Friday. So my answer is “no.” Yet others love to do it and brag about the deals they got; it’s like sport to them.

This year, there are a few key changes happening in the Black Friday world that will make it a lot easier on shoppers.

The hours are changing. It used to be that things kicked off at around 5 a.m. on Black Friday. But this year, Toys R Us is opening at 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving and Wal-Mart is starting its deals an hour later at 10 p.m. Many other retailers are opening at midnight.

Deals aren’t just limited to Black Friday or Cyber Monday anymore. You’ll find deals through the entire season now. In fact, the online deals are much more likely to better on Thanksgiving Day than on Cyber Monday, which is so two years ago.
