This election season there is a scam specifically geared to attach senior citizens. Mailings, emails and phone calls are going to senior citizens saying that there will be a referendum this fall on Social Security, and you need to participate in the referendum by paying money.

Many seniors are falling for it. If you have older parents, grandparents, relatives or friends, make sure they are aware that this Social Security referendum is completely bogus, and there is no such thing.
