Each year, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) compiles a list of the most popular scams. Far and away, the top scam of 2010 was a symptom of the economy: job hunter scams.
There are a variety of crooks out there advertising job opportunities that are not on the up and up. It’s also interesting to note that you have work at home scams on the Top 10 list, according to the BBB. (See my work at home guide linked below for guidance on finding legit opportunities. You won’t get rich from any of my suggestions, but you can earn a little extra coin.)
