When it comes to searching for a job, finding one with good perks is the gold standard. Finding one that will help pay for your vacation? Almost unheard of.
But job search website FlexJobs has a list of remote-friendly companies that offer benefits such as paid vacations. All of the companies listed below offer their employees either extra time off, credits towards certain vacation expenses — and sometimes actual cash — to use for leisure purposes.
What’s more, all of the companies listed have active remote job openings in FlexJobs’ database.
Let’s take a look at the companies that will pay you for your vacation:
AFAR Media is a travel media brand that has a website and publishes a magazine. AFAR Media provides its full-time employees with 30 days of paid time off and a $2,000 stipend each year to travel new places, according to a company blog post.
The popular vacation rental platform features rooms, homes and more for rent across the world. Employees get an annual travel and experiences credit to use toward staying in Airbnb properties.
Human resources software company BambooHR offers its employees “Paid Paid Vacations” which allocate $2,000 a year for annual travel, according to FlexJobs.
To make sure you only use the money on some much-needed R&R, BambooHR’s website says the company “only covers vacation expenses like plane tickets, hotel rooms, and other items that are clearly related to vacation.”
Online marketplace Bonanza.com offers its employees “Freedom February,” where employees get to work remotely in a destination like “Mexico, Belize, Europe, etc.,” according to the company website.
During that month, employees get five extra days off — days not counted as vacation — to enjoy as they see fit.
Digital scheduling tool Calendly offers its employees plenty of perks. One of them that stands out is its Vacation Stipend, which gives workers $1,000 annually for them to use on their getaways away from the office.
The popular online travel-booking site is known for facilitating getaways for countless users, but what about its employees? Expedia offers its workers a “leisure travel reimbursement” based on how long you’ve been with the company, according to FlexJobs.
FullContact gives each employee $7,500 annually to go on vacation. The company stipulates that to get the money you must actually go on vacation, you can’t do any work and you must “disconnect.”
Popular marketing software company Moz is another business that gives its employees what’s called “paid paid vacation,” a $3,000 vacation expense reimbursement every year.
Health care marketing firm PulsePoint offers its employees a $500 annual travel reimbursement as part of the company’s paid vacation plan.
TripAdvisor offers its workers a “Personal Travel Reimbursement” on an annual basis. According to FlexJobs, the amount is $250 or more.

FlexJobs is a job search website that focuses on identifying legitimate job postings, but it’s not free. The service charges $14.95/month because a real person reviews every single job posting to help you avoid bogus listings and scams.
