If there’s a veteran or active military member in your life, here’s an opportunity to let them know how to save a little more money this month!
RELATED: How to score a real deal at Dollar General
With Veterans Day fast approaching on November 11, Dollar General is bringing back its initiative to reward all veterans, active military and their immediate family members with a discount in honor of the day.
On that Saturday, the military community will get a thank you for their service and sacrifice in the form of an 11% discount that’s good on all purchases made both in store and online.
Showing appreciation for the brave men and women who wear the uniform of our nation isn’t limited to discounts on one day for Dollar General, either.
Among the many military-focused initiatives it undertakes, the dollar-store chain has also supported Paychecks for Patriots, a partnership with the state of Tennessee that offers a hiring event exclusively for veterans.
The last Paychecks for Patriots event was held in October 2016.
And as recently as last month, Dollar General also extended an 11% military discount for one day, too.
