Help fellow consumers

Are you alarmed that your utility bills continue to rise? Are you struggling to afford hospital care or drowning in medical debt? Have you been the victim of identity theft?  Are you interested in cleaner, cheaper, more efficient energy solutions?  Are you stuck paying off a loan with excessively high-interest?

If you’ve been affected by these or any other consumer issues, Georgia Watch, the state’s leading consumer advocacy group, may be able to help.

With Clark Howard serving proudly on our board, Georgia Watch has been standing up for citizens and families since 2002. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educating Georgia consumers on a wide range of issues, including health care, energy and utility matters, insurance, foreclosure, and predatory lending. We also issue public policy reports and advocate for consumer-friendly legislation at the Capitol.

Members are a key component of Georgia Watch, and many take an active role in our efforts to protect consumers. They meet with state and local lawmakers, provide testimony to legislative committees, participate in press conferences, and speak with the media. As a team, we raise awareness, promote consumer-friendly public policy, and push for greater protections for all Georgians.

If you need help with a consumer issue or would like to learn more about becoming a Georgia Watch member, please contact our outreach director, Ashley Wilson, at 404-525-1085 ext. 13, or email her at awilson@georgiawatch.org.
