A new tally of the best and worst companies for online shopping has been released. Do you have a gripe or praise for one of these e-commerce hotspots?
The good news is that customer satisfaction among online shoppers remained steady year over year in 2012, according to the new tally from ForeSee Results.
According to their Top 100 Online Retail Satisfaction Index, the business that provided the best online customer experience is Amazon.com. Meanwhile, LLBean.com also did well in the tally.
On the flip side, the survey names Fingerhut.com and Gilt.com as being among the worst online retailers.
That’s interesting because those two companies have different target markets — Fingerhut is low end and Gilt does flash sales on luxury merchandise — but they both apparently stink it up!
Remember, if you’re doing business with an online site where you’re not sure of their reputation, be sure to monitor your credit card statements closely. You have 60 days to dispute any fraudulent charges when you pay by credit card.
