If you’ve been shopping lately for an older model of car, you know that used vehicles have gone up in price substantially over the past several months. In fact, the average price of a used vehicle in the United States recently topped $28,000.

Despite the inflated used car market, there are still some deals out there.

You Can Still Get a Deal on a Used Car

Vehicle research site iSeeCars.com recently listed what it has deemed the best used cars, and the list includes some cheaper than that $28,000 national average price.

In this article, I’ll take a look at the best used cars under $25,000, $20,000 and $15,000.

Here’s how iSeeCars.com says it came up with its “best” lists: “The winners are cars that are the longest lasting, hold their value the best, and have the highest average safety ratings from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).”

Here are the winners in the different price categories. Note that the cars are ranked in descending order of price.
