Destination: Hong Kong
About this photo: Taken from the top of Victoria Peak, which is accessible by a nice tram ride.
Best deal found: I think the tram tickets were roughly $7 roundtrip. Not bad at all for this can’t-miss view.

Destination: Oslo, Norway
About this photo: This was taken on our way up to see the Holmenkollen Ski ramp which was being re-built for the 2011 Winter Olympics. The scenery was breathtaking.
Best deal found: The trip was the deal because we found the price of our cruise had been reduced $1000 about a month before departure and price was honored by Celebrity and we received an upgrade to boot!

Destination: Jasper National Park CA
About this photo: I went to Jasper while on a business trip. The photo was taken while I was on someones brand new van. He said ” get up on my van” after seeing me trying to get to a higher position on a nearby boulder. The fire was the result of a control burn (for pine bark beetle) gone wild.
Best deal found: Canadain National Park fees are cheap, with unlimited access for the day. You don’t need a guide to see great quanities of wildlife.

About this photo:
Baia San Montano, Lacco Ameno, Ischia, Italy. This beach has pristine water and beautiful dark volcanic sand. The Negombo Gardens and thermal baths are directly behind the beach.
Best deal found: The Hotel Flora in Ischia Porto was a great deal. 9 nights with breakfast and choice of lunch or dinner (4 courses: extensive antipasto buffet, first, second, and desserts/fruits) was under $1000 per person in June.

About this photo: This photo was shot from the balcony of my room at the Llao Llao Resort in Bariloche, Patagonia, Argentina in March of 2009. This might be the best photo I have ever taken!

Destination: England
About this photo: This is Windsor castle. I have to say it is one of my top ten favorite castles.
Best deal found:  After doing a little research on places to stay, the best deal was renting an apartment for the week, great price and you can save a bit of cash by cooking a few meals.

Destination: Smith Mtn Lake, VA
About this photo:
Beautiful sunset over Smith Mountain Lake. The boat in the sunlight just sat in the cove as the sun went down.
Best deal found:
Only 6 1/2 hours from Atlanta to this beautiful lake. Staying with family members for free! Gas in this part of Virginia is cheap and we even got 10 cents off a gallon at the local Kroger with our points from Atlanta.

Destination: Grand Tetons, WY
About this photo: This is a picture of Grand Teton located in Wyoming. In front of the mountain is Snake River. This is a fascinating mountain range because arise out of what seems nowhere. It is surrounded by the plains. I really liked this picture because the trees kind of border the picture and it has a view of the river in front of the mountain range.
Best deal found: I think the best deal we got was our rental car. We rented an SUV from my husband’s brother. So he was able to get us a friends and family discount. This was nice as we were traveling on a budget and this made it much easier to make the trip possible. On our trip we went to Mount Rushmore, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Salt Lake City (where I finally graduated from Western Governors University an online school which I would definitely recommend as a price conscious online school, after 10 long years of work I’m finally done and couldn’t be happier).

Destination: Paris
About this photo: This picture of my husband and I was taken from the top of Montparnasse Tower in Paris.
Best deal found: The view from atop Montparnasse Tower! Cheaper than the Eiffel Tower with no lines or crowds, and the view is even better because you can see the Eiffel Tower, but not the Montparnasse Tower (which some call the ugliest building in Paris!)

Destination: Big Horn Mountains
About this photo: This picture was taken the first part of June after a late season snow storm.
Best deal found: I Had to buy some winter outer wear which happened to be on sale everywhere because it was supposed to be summer season.

Destination: Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda
About this photo: Beautiful pink sand beach at Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda.
Best deal found: Traveled by cruise ship and always went back to the ship to eat, because food is expensive on the island. Scooters were cheap and gave us freedom to tour the island at our pace.

Submitted by: Elisabeth R.
Destination: Kaneohe/Kailua area, Oahu, Hawaii
About this photo: This was taken from a “scenic point” right off the highway outside of Kailua, Oahu. The island in the picture is where the show “Gilligan’s Island” was filmed.
Best deal found: #1 Best deal PRETRIP would have to be the airfare. I got roundtrip from ATL to HNL for only $534 + tax ($591) during peak season! Clark didn’t have my fare on his site, but I did use one of his links to search for good deals! #2 Best deal DURING the trip would have to be souvenier shopping at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. The Swap Meet is open on Sat., Sun., & Wed. only. It’s HUGE and has every souvenier imaginable, but at prices a lot cheaper than in souvenier stores or at attractions. My best find was long strands of freshwater pearls for $10!

About this photo: This picture was taken at the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens which is northeast Washington, D.C. The aquatic gardens were absolutely breathtaking. It was filled with lotus flowers and lilies. Right now it is peak season for the flowers, but make sure to arrive early in the morning. When it gets too warm the flowers tend to close up.
Best deal found: Kenilworth Aquatic Garden was the best deal I found because it was absolutely free to visit!

Destination: Pensacola, FL
About this photo: We traveled down to Pensacola to see the Blue Angles air show, it was great. Get there early, there will be more people than you expect. Also catch the beach, very good sand, excellent water, and not packed like other places in FL. Best kept secret in Florida.
Best deal found: Stay in Navarre, then drive over to Pensacola. The traffic is unbelievable. Dont just follow the crowd to the show, everyone is going the same place, but there is a pier before you cross the last bridge, great view of everything, away from the crowd, there were about 20 people around us, whereas the main crowd had over 100,000.
