New Airport Signage
What’s the best and least expensive way into town from an airport? In the case of arriving into the massive London Heathrow Airport, is the train cheaper than a taxi? A new airport service can now help you determine the best way into central London. Europe’s busiest airport has installed digital smart screens at Terminal 2 baggage claim that display taxi and train information in real time, including prices, traffic, and travel times that aid passengers to make the best decisions for onward travel. The screens were produced and paid for in part by Heathrow Express, a train service that connects Paddington to the airport. The info provided isn’t biased toward rail travel, but might also suggest that a door-to-door taxi might be less expensive for a group traveling by taxi. The informational screens will be soon expanded to the baggage claims of terminals 3 and 5.
If you’re London-bound soon, just what is the best and least expensive way into town? The Heathrow Express is about $57 round-trip, per person to Paddington Station (you’ll have to pony up again for a tube ride to your final destination). The service runs every 15 minutes with a trip duration of 15 minutes. If there are two or more traveling together, consider Minicab service. The rate for three passengers, for example, with three suitcases costs about $72 each way — directly to your desired address. Seven passenger vehicles are available for four passengers with bags for about $88.

Orlando Park Savings
A visit to the Orlando Visitor Center can also garner a savings of up to $30 off gate prices to Universal Orlando, which start at $149.99 for a two-day ticket. And, save up to $22 off admission prices to SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa. Both parks also offer combo tickets to SeaWorld, Busch Gardens and Aquatica with a savings of up to $46. Weekday prices start at $75.

Airfare offers – ones with a ticket-by date – and deals with our suggestion to ‘Hurry!’ can expire at anytime.   Heed Clark’s advice: Buy that great airfare deal – and then figure out a reason to go there! Eventually you’ll see the world at a fraction of the normal price!
