Times Square Attractions to Close
Three of the most popular exhibits ever at Discovery Times Square (226 West 44th St., between 7th/8th Avenues) are closing:
Star Wars and the Power of Costume, Body Worlds and The Vikings Exhibition.

See them all until Labor Day, Monday, September 5.
* With 70 hand–crafted costumes from the first six blockbuster films and many sets and props, the Star Wars tribute reveals the artistic connection between character and costume – from the menacing black mask of Darth Vader and the gilded suit of C-3PO, to the lavish royal gowns of Queen Amidala and the bikini worn by Princess Leia – plus seven more from the latest film in the franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
* After a 12-year ground-breaking run in NYC, first at South Street Seaport then at Discovery Times Square, the iconic Body Worlds human anatomy exhibition explores the human body through a process called plastination, which uses real human bodies willingly donated to science.
* Featuring the largest collection of Viking artifacts ever assembled in North America, this exhibition explores the rich Viking culture with more than 500 treasures – some never seen outside of Scandinavia including a model of a Viking Ghost Ship, interactive activities and games, and Viking jewelry, metalwork, weaponry and religious iconography.
Discovery Times Square is open seven days a week. Adult tickets are $29.50 and discounts are available for children, students and seniors. See 2 or more exhibits in one visit and save up to 20% with combo rates.
DTS is New York City’s first large-scale exhibition center presenting visitors with limited-run, educational, and immersive exhibit experiences while exploring the world’s defining cultures, art, history, and events.
Launching in 2017, the multi-media experience called ‘Discover New York’ will include multi-sensory flight simulation ride through NYC as well as multiple themed galleries exploring history of fashion, music, film, TV and theater alongside a real-time digital visitor center.

Additional charges now apply to budget and sale rates on most airlines for a carry-on bag, checked baggage and advance seat assignments. The least expensive fees are charged when these options are purchased during the ticket booking process. Fees climb higher after flights are reserved and even higher when adding these options at airport check-in. Kayak offers the most up-to-date Fees Chart for all domestic and international airlines.
