On-demand services such as grocery delivery or Uber and Lyft have been a game changer. They’ve provided a new level of independence for those who can’t or don’t want to drive a car. Getting around is now just a tap away on your smartphone.

What if you still rely on your trusty flip phone, or use a Jitterbug?

Now these services are accessible even to those who don’t have a smartphone. A new company called Gogo Grandparent lets users call for a ride, delivery or any other kind of on-demand service by phone. Instead of texts and apps tracking, users get phone call updates instead.
