The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) Household Appliance and Electronics Study 2022-2023 rates the best computer brands and types of devices according to customer satisfaction.
Which Computer Devices Do Customers Prefer?
When it came to device types, satisfaction was highest among survey respondents for desktops (84 ACSI score), followed by laptops (80) and tablets (76).

- When it comes to processor speed, desktops beat both laptops and tablets.
- For graphics and sound quality, desktops once again beat laptops, with tablets lagging slightly behind.
- For design, laptops and tablets are the devices the survey respondents said they liked to use the most.

ACSI says 14,069 people were interviewed for the study between July 2022 and June 2023, about computers they’d recently purchased. The brands and device types were scored on a 100-point scale.
