We have some good news for YouTube TV subscribers.

The popular live TV streaming service has added three new channels to its menu. And it won’t cost subscribers anything extra!

This news follows YouTube TV’s recent announcement that it will be the new home of NFL Sunday Ticket in 2023.

Here’s a quick look at what you need to know about YouTube TV’s latest channel additions.

YouTube TV Subscribers Get 3 New Channels

Though YouTube TV hasn’t made a big deal about it with marketing or social media, YouTube TV subscribers should now see three new channels available on the menu grid.

YouTube TV subscribers now should have access to the following E.W. Scripps channel offerings:

  • ION
  • Bounce TV
  • Scripps News

The subscription price for YouTube TV remains $65 per month after these additions.

I was able to confirm these channels are available for live streaming via the YouTube TV app on January 25:

Ion is perhaps best known for often broadcasting a catalog of procedural crime dramas from series such as NCIS and Law & Order. Bounce TV is a mixture of sitcoms, reality TV, drama and movies.

Scripps News is a 24-hour news network.

Should You Subscribe To YouTube TV?

The addition of these channels probably doesn’t impact your final decision on which live TV streaming service you want for your household, but if you’re a fan of one or more of those channels it certainly helps.

YouTube TV remains Team Clark’s top choice for best overall live TV streaming service. It is also the service that money expert Clark Howard’s family has in their home.

At $65 per month, you’ll get a channel menu that includes a wide variety of sports, news and entertainment channels along with local channels and unlimited cloud DVR storage.
