If there’s one thing that makes the chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A taste even better, it’s pairing them with your favorite dipping sauce.

The fast-food restaurant offers more than a handful of choices and everyone seems to have a personal favorite!

Best and worst Chick-fil-A sauces

Remember when social media had a fit after Chick-fil-A replaced its original barbecue sauce last year with a new version? That didn’t last long!

There was even an online petition, which led the chain to bring the original sauce back in a matter of months.

Just recently, Kate Taylor from Business Insider tried all seven of the chicken restaurant’s sauces and ranked them from best to worst. Here are her results:

1. Chick-fil-A Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “Our classic dipping sauce with notes of honey mustard and a smoky tang.”

Business Insider says: “It’s the perfect accompaniment to anything on the Chick-fil-A menu.”

2. Honey Mustard Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “A savory sauce with the robust flavor of mustard and spices combined with the sweetness of honey.”

Business Insider says: “I would literally eat the honey mustard sauce with a spoon.”

3. BBQ Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “Our classic barbeque sauce, seasoned with spices, onion and garlic for a rich and bold flavor.”

Business Insider says: “If you’re craving BBQ, it hits the spot, and the chain would be worse without it.”

4. Zesty Buffalo Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “A flavorful hot sauce with a smooth, bold flavor.”

Business Insider says: “While Chick-fil-A’s take is a bit thinner and more watery than I would prefer, the flavor is spot on.”

5. Polynesian Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “A delicious sweet and sour sauce with a strong, tangy flavor.”

Business Insider says: “Chick-fil-A Polynesian sauce is famous — but I don’t think it’s actually very good.”

6. Sriracha Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “A sweet and tangy sauce made with chili peppers for a spicy twist.”

Business Insider says: “The Sweet & Spicy Sriracha tastes like someone mixed Polynesian sauce with sriracha.”

7. Garlic & Herb Ranch Sauce

Chick-fil-A says: “A creamy buttermilk ranch sauce with savory garlic, onion and herb flavors.”

Business Insider says: “If you’re a ranch fanatic, my advice is to bring your own Hidden Valley.”
