When it comes to brands that you trust, what or who comes to mind?
That’s the question researchers asked more than 12,800 shoppers to determine which brands made the cut for the sixth annual Brandspark Most Trusted Awards.
What are the most trusted brands in your home?
To arrive at its findings, Brandspark solicited 61,000 opinions across 118 categories, including 75 newly-measured ones.
“The top brands repeatedly meet consumer expectations with great product and service experiences,” say Robert Levy, President and CEO of BrandSpark International. “The best of these brands are able to build on that foundation of trust and create meaningful innovation while maintaining strong value and consistent quality.”

Clark’s take on name brands vs. private brands
A lot of people swear by name brands, but not money expert Clark Howard!
Maybe you’re a name-brand kind of person but are looking to save more money. If that’s the case, the food and beverage category is an ideal entry point. You can simply try out a supermarket’s own private label the next time you’re shopping. Buying the store brand will typically allow you save up to 30% without clipping coupons.
“Try a store brand just once the next time you’re at the supermarket. If you like what you buy, you save money that time and every time going forward when you buy it again,” Clark says.
If you don’t like it, go back to the national brand. Just about every store will give you a refund or exchange the store brand for the national brand if you ask.
