With the Black Friday 2018 holiday shopping season right around the corner, there’s a new way to save an extra 5% on everything you buy at Amazon, Macy’s, Sam’s Club and more.
From October 1 to December 31, Discover and Chase Freedom® cardholders can get cash back on up to $1,500 in purchases.

Discover and Chase Freedom® announce 5% cash back categories
If you already have an eligible credit card in your wallet, you know that they offer 5% cash back on rotating categories throughout the year, which you must activate to get the rewards for using your card.
Here are the Discover and Chase Freedom® cash back categories for the fourth quarter of 2018:

Of course, taking advantage of the 5% cash back offers from Discover or Chase Freedom® only makes sense if you don’t carry a balance on your credit cards.
